First a little about myself. My name is Dave Edwards and I live in Whippingham on The Isle of Wight (IO90IR87). I was born in 1967 and in 1971 became interested in radio as a very young swl , probably influenced in my fathers interest in radio. I was licenced in 1991 and started on 2m and that's when the bug bit! I'm also qrv on 6m but only qrp, very hard work in the pileups hi. I am sometimes qrv on 20m cw and ssb, nice to have a ragchew and it also helps to sharpen up the cw :-).
My interests on 2m now are mainly weak or 'unusual' propagation modes, so if anyone wants to try a tropo, ms (slow cw or ssb) or ionoscatter test then please send me an
email
.
My achievements on 2m are not fantastic but I have learned an awful lot about propagation on VHF and had a lot of fun in the process!
